Lassi Kontiainen

Lassi Kontiainen is a Helsinki-based visual artist whose work draws, among other things, on art history and religious traditions of imagery.

Kontiainen (b. 1999) received his Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts Helsinki in 2025. He has held solo and group exhibitions at venues including the St. Henry’s Ecumenical Art Chapel in Turku and Lokal Gallery in Helsinki. His works are held in the collections of the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma, HUS Helsinki University Hospital, and the Finnish Students’ Art Association.
